Tonight is going to be the night...

I shall write it next year (ha its only hours away, I am not putting it off for a whole year!)


This is the last post of 2010 so I wish you all a VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR!


I kinda feel that NYE is over rated, but I've had a crap year in some parts and a good year in some. The crap outweighs the good, but its not the time to reflect and regret. Its the time to look forward.


I watched Phil and Kirsties Home for Heroes last night - there was a guy who lost his legs whilst serving for our country and he said he didnt want a house on one level. He wanted to challenge himself and so he wanted a house with stairs so he could learn to go up them etc..


He said something that stuck in my head 'I dont want to focus on what I can't do, but what I can do'


I think thats what I am going to do. For too long, I have sat and regretted things I didnt do, or things I should have done. Now is the time to change, and its not because its a new year. Its because at the end of the year you kinda realise that in order to become a better person, you need to draw a line in the sand and start. Because the only one who can change you, is you.


And with that, I am going to love you and leave you and wish you all the very happiest of years ahead. Not to sound too corny or cliche, you just never know when this all comes to an end and Im pretty sure death is not as exciting as life.. What if this is it? Life may be the only adventure we have, so we may aswell make the most of it.


Jeeez, Whats happening to me in my old age? Im becoming all sentimental and nostalgic. Ohh I am sorry. I am sure I have many more stories and anecdotes to share with you in 2011, but until then... Get together, get happy and get sloshed! xxxxxxx
